Cloud-LMS: Frequently Asked Questions for Academicians

How can I login to Cloud-LMS?
Answer: You can log in with your ÖBS (Student Information System) username and password.

When will the new semester courses and student lists be transferred to Cloud-LMS?
Answer: Information is transferred to Cloud-LMS from ÖBS on the weekend before the new semester starts. Student lists are updated at regular intervals (Your student will be transferred to your course student list within 2 days after receiving the advisor’s approval).

I forgot my Cloud-LMS password. What should I do?
Answer: Cloud-LMS username and password are automatically withdrawn from ÖBS. Therefore, you need to take action regarding your ÖBS password. Regarding this, Student Affairs (obsdestek@iyte.edu.tr) can be contacted.

I am a research assistant at IZTECH, but I am not a student at IZTECH. How can I login to Cloud-LMS?
Answer: Describing your situation you can send an e-mail to uzem@iyte.edu.tr and get your username and password.

What are the powers of the assistant role? What is the difference between the “Assistant” and “Unable to edit” roles?
Answer: The assistant role has the same powers as the educator role. They simply cannot change the role of educators. Many powers are restricted in the role of the educator who cannot decide. We recommend adding assistants to the system with the assistant role.

How can I learn the term information of a course in Cloud-LMS?
Answer: After clicking on the course content, you can see “Control Panel > Courses > 2021-2022 Fall > …” from the blue category bar under the course name.

My Classes does not appear in Cloud-LMS. What should I do?
Answer: Please recheck carefully. If your course is not visible, please send an e-mail to uzem@iyte.edu.tr explaining your situation, including the course code.

The student I will add to the course has an e-mail address (Gmail, Hotmail) independent of iyte.edu.tr in Cloud-LMS. Can I add to the lesson?
Answer: Yes.

Is it normal for the courses I gave in previous semesters to appear in Cloud-LMS?
Answer: Yes. Old lessons are archived in Cloud-LMS.

I want to use the appointment system in my classes. What should I do?
Answer: Follow the steps in the instruction sent to you by UZEM by e-mail.

My student cannot login to Cloud-LMS. What should I do?
Answer: Indicate the students to examine the answers to frequently asked questions. If the problem persists, you can send an e-mail to uzem@iyte.edu.tr.
